New skills!

Yesterday Lily asked to learn how to sew a button onto fabric. I was so excited that she wanted to learn this fantastic skill. We set to work choosing felt and a button from her button jar. She learned to pinch the thread at the eye of the needle so the needle doesn't slide off the thread. We had fun together. She did a great job. I am so proud of her!

Lily, you are taking after your momma and becoming a good little seamstress.

Oh Lily .... I am so happy to see that you are using your buttons in such a creative way.... every girl needs a button jar for just these occasions! Did you add your new spring buttons to the collection? I love you "sew" much. XO XO

Lily - I'm very proud of your talents to sew on buttons already. I have plenty of material and will share with you this fall so you can start making clothes for your dolls.
