You're killing me, Smalls!

Today I presented a lovely variety of foods for lunch: pizzadilla, strawberries, cantelope, carrot sticks, and fresh tomatoes. Guess what Carter ate for lunch...water! He drank his water, started eating his pizzadilla and couldn't stand the texture of the mozzarella cheese on the pizzadilla, and declared he wanted "out" of his booster.

Oh dear.

Lily was a good sport and ate her pizzadilla even though it only earned a sideways thumb (not thumbs up). And I think she'll venture to eat her strawberries....I hope.

Oh! Can I come to your house for lunch ..... please, please, please? Your lunch sounds so good. Lily and Carter just don't know how lucky they are... just wait until they get sent to Africa or China on their missions! Love you sooo much and we are so excited to see you the end of this week and to eat one of your delicious lunches!

The locks are gone, I am sure I would cry more than my Lily would (that is if my Lily ever can get her hair long). But let Lily know that I think she looks amazing and now she can have a lot more summer fun without the worry of her hair in the way. And it is more like Cinderella's hair length and she looks like Cinderella to me.
Sorry about the food troubles.. it is hard to be a mom and not get food in your kid even for one meal, they can be more onry and tired and any how I just know how you feel.

Wow! I don't know if I've ever put that much work into a lunch before. It sounds delicious!

LOL. I thought Carter was your good eater! Come reunion time, you don't need to worry about them eating their meals...I eat enough for everyone now! I'm sure I could help clean their plates!!

What a nice lunch though! I want you to teach me how to make a pizzadilla! (is it pronounced like Napolean Dynamite would pronounce it with Tina the Llama?) Yum! Yum! You are a super mom and those kids are well fed!

Can I just tell you that I can completely empathize with your Carter eating issues. I have found that Fischer loves carrots, so the poor kid gets carrots for every meal!

isn't it crazy when they pass up the BEST foods! Grace is super picky, too. I think of her diet in terms of weeks... as in, she had vegetables once this week and a couple bites of applesauce. No wonder she's a little shrimp! :)

That sounds like a great lunch. Can I come eat Carters? Sorry your kiddos are pickey. I am grateful mine arent. Our rule is you don't know you don't like it until you try it ... goes for everything. Space Mountain & Thunder Mtn too. :)
